Rates and Policy

Thank you for choosing RC Translator & Interpreter Services. It is my pleasure to assist you as an Interpreter or Translator.

Interpreter Services Rates

Service Type / PA Rates / Out-of-State Rates

Consecutive Interpreter $85/hr $100/hr

Simultaneous Interpreter $95/hr $115/hr

Express Interpreter (Consecutive/Simultaneous)$120/hr $180/hr

Half Day (6 hrs) $720 $1,080

Full Day (8 hrs) $960 $1,440

Travel Fees $0.62/mile $0.78/mile

Notes:

Minimum booking in PA is 2 hours with a 50% deposit.
Interprerter advises clients to reserve services days or weeks in advance.
Travel fees may be waived for services within a 5-mile radius.
Express Interpreter/Translation refers to services booked and paid less than 72 hours in advance.

Service Type Rate

Standard Translation $45/document page

Express Translation $60/document page (same-day delivery within 24 hrs)

Business Email Translation $35–$50/email

Notes:

Standard translation delivery is by email, taking 7–10 business days.
Express translation is same-day, delivered via email only. Large quantities may not qualify.
Standard mail delivery ranges from $5.00.
Optional notarization may range from $10/document.
Each document will include a Certificate of Accuracy.
- Additional Certification per document incurs an extra fee.
RC will calculate the total amount including taxes after receiving the document and client preferences.
Work begins after payment is processed.
Clients are responsible for reviewing documents before notarization.
RC does not refund translation services.

By processing payment, the client agrees to all rates and policies of RC Interpreter and Translator Services.

Minimum Compensation
- Interpreters hired hourly are guaranteed at least 2 hours pay per assignment.
Cancellations
- ≥72 hours’ notice: No cancellation fee.
- <72 hours’ notice, before travel: Fee = 1 hour pay.
- After travel begins or interpreter appears: Fee = 2 hours pay, regardless of assignment type or number of cases.
- Interpreters are reimbursed for any incurred expenses.
Travel Reimbursement
- Mileage, parking, tolls, and travel time reimbursed:
  - Mileage >50 miles round trip: paid at prevailing county/court rates.
  - Parking: reimbursed if no free parking within 5 blocks.
Long-Distance Travel
- Travel >2 hours one way: half hourly rate for travel time.
- Train/plane travel: full travel costs + per diem reimbursed.
Overnight Accommodation
- Reimbursable if required to complete assignment.
Receipts Required
- All reimbursement requests must include proper receipts.
Substitution / Unexpected Cancellation
- If interpreter cancels, a substitute will be provided.
- If no substitute is available: no charges, deposits refundable.

Note: Rates may increase per Federal/State Interpreter Guidelines.
